Sponsorship Opportunities for Vietnamese lecturers and Students

Through the sponsorship of the registration fee to the OCWC Global Conference by local and international sponsors, the organizer will encourage the individuals whose passion is to get better understanding of the OpenCourseWare (OCW) in general and of Vietnam OpenCourseWare (VOCW) in particular. All applicants must be students or lecturers at the Vietnamese universities or colleges.

The application deadline is due by 9A.M. (GMT+7) on April 26th.  All application materials must be received by that date via email to Dr.Huong, Nguyen Thi Le Huong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Training at ntlhuong@moet.gov.vn.

The Committee chair will determine the ones who are selected by April 28th, based on the availability of sponsorship and on the first - come - first - serve basis.  The committee chair will immediately notify the selected ones and recipients will in turn need to notify the committee by April 30th if they will be attending the conference. Please do not register on this site until sponsorship is confirmed.

If a selected person cannot attend the conference, an alternate will be chosen and notified. 

Post Conference

Being sponsored the registration fee, the recipients will need to submit a maximum two-page summary of their testimonial which clearly explain one of the two questions below:

1)      What did you learn from the Conference?

2)      How can VOCW be further developed in Vietnam?

And:

3)      Write an acknowledgement letter to the sponsor.
